Western Welding Academy recently visited District 200 on their Blue Collar Tour which visits 30 high schools in 60 days. The purpose is to engage, educate, and excite high school students about the skilled trades, specifically welding.
Students from Woodstock and Woodstock North High Schools got a firsthand look at welding through live demonstrations, asked questions during an interactive Q&A session, and wrapped up the experience with fun prizes and giveaways.
