Celebrating Future Educators
District 200 recently celebrated Future Teacher Signing Day, with educators recognizing the students who plan to follow in their career footsteps. Students from both high schools participated in the morning event, held this year at WHS.
Congratulations, Eshaan and Krishna!
Juniors Krishna Patel and Eshaan Virani will present their “Navigo” app in a Google Showcase later this month. Their invention was selected from several hundred applications from around the state.

Lyndra Bastian, orchestra director at both CMS and WHS, has been named the 2025 McHenry County Educator of the Year.

Two enterprising Woodstock High School students, fueled by last year’s project coming up just short, earned a second chance to present their invention in a Google Showcase later this month.

The Illinois State Board of Education recently announced a state record in Advanced Placement participation and performance, while Woodstock Community Unit School District 200’s recent graduates also surpassed the district’s record far exceeding state and national outcomes.
